CES 2011 - Tablet War

Every one knows that Apple iPad tablet kills the Netbook market, but in CES 2011 most of all major manufactures like Dell,Samsung,LG,Blackberry ,Motorola launched their Tablets prodcut to stay in race with Apple. Most Tablets used  Android OS to gain some tablet market share with high performance  hardware  features to support 4G and LTE network .

Netbook market is sure to hit by the many latest tablets with Google and Windows 7 Flavor to makes customers to buy Tablet instead of Netbook.

In the lineup of the top  tablets released in the last couple of days we give you a rundown:




Motorola Xoom - DHOOM




Motorola is dropping a bomb with 3.0 Honeycomb tablet dubbed the Motorola Xoom.
  • A 1GHz dual-core Tegra 2
  • 10.1-incher
  • 4G connectivity
  • 1280 x 800 resolution
  • 5 megapixel camera, 720p video recording and 1080p video playback
  • 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
  • 32GB of onboard storage.

Velocity Micro
 Velocity Micro has just revealed a trio of new tablets: the 7-inch Cruz Tablet L37, the 8-inch Cruz Tablet P38 and the 10.1-inch Cruz Tablet L510
 

L37 is equipped with a 1024 x 600 capacitive touchpanel, 802.11n WiFi, 4GB of internal memory, front / rear-facing cameras, optional 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and a micro-HDMI out port. The P38 is effectively the same, but it relies on a 1024 x 768 resolution display.
The L510 gets equipped with a 1366 x 768 resolution display, NVIDIA’s Tegra 250 chipset and a 1GHz dual-core CPU.

Dell Streak Tablets


Dell Streak 5 incher already exists and launched in India @ 35,000 Rs  and now the company has dropped the 7 inch Streak with the 10 inch teased and slated for next year, Lets take a look at the specs

  • Dimensions: 7.87″ x 4.72″ x 0.49″

Panasonic Viera Tablet
  • The Android based and will be available in 4, 7, and 10-inch sizes.
  • Android 2.2 with Panasonic’s Viera UI operating on top
  • The 10- and 7-inch models feature HDMI and USB ports, as well as card readers
  • The 4-inch only has an HDMI port.

View Sonic

ViewSonic swapped some internals and moved to a smaller 16GB SSD, but it's still the same 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor underneath
  • dual-boots Windows 7 Home Premium and Android 1.6 
  • USB 2.0, mini-HDMI, microSD and 3.5mm headphone jack. 
  •  10-incher also sports a 1.3 megapixel shooter on the front for your video chatting needs.
  • Android 2.2 on Tegra 2.
